Get ready to lace up your sneakers and hit the field! We’re thrilled to announce the return of our annual Jog-A-Thon, a beloved tradition that brings together our school community for fun, fitness, and fundraising!

Our Fundraising Goal this Year: $12,000

Why the Jog-A-Thon Matters

The Summerville Elementary PTA is hosting our annual Jog-a-Thon on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026, our biggest fundraiser of the year! This beloved tradition brings together our school and community for fun, fitness, and fundraising! Our goal this year is to raise $12,000 for campus beautification projects, including new display cases around campus, two murals, and repainting the ball court. These improvements will help create a welcoming, inspiring campus that encourages school pride and reflects the care our community has for our school.

How It Works

All students will be participating in our 2026 Summerville Elementary Jog-A-Thon during their designated time at school. This will be a fun-filled day of music, school spirit, and a cheering squad of teachers and parents. Students will jog, walk, or run as many laps as they can during their scheduled class time.

Pledge: Gather pledges from family, friends, and neighbors by sponsoring a flat amount. You can find the pledge tracking form here.

Sponsor: Own a business and want to sponsor our Jog-A-Thon? Your sponsorship not only benefits our student's school experience but will provide great visibility for your business. Be sure to check out our sponsorship levels here or pick up in the school office

*Deadline for Collections: Both Pledge and Sponsorship forms are due Friday, March 20th to the school office.

 

Prizes for Participating in Jog-A-Thon

  • Most money collected from sponsors wins: a wins a community sports pack inclusive of Elevate gift card, Tuolumne summer pool pass, and Twain Harte mini golf gift card
  • Most money collected in pledges wins: a summer pool pass to the Tuolumne pool 
  • Top runner award: top runner in each grade level (boy/girl) wins a Pizza Factory gift card.
  • Gift card drawing: Raise $50 or more in pledges/sponsors and be entered to win a basket of community gift cards and prizes.
  • Top fundraiser class award: The class that raises the most money wins a pizza party.
  • Entire school award: if we meet our goal of $12,000 the whole school wins a Kona Ice day!
  • FREE 2026 Jog-A-Thon T-shirt: Raise $25 or more in pledges/spo

How You Can Help

We can’t do this without you! Here’s how you can support:

  • Volunteer to help on the day of the event (set-up, lap counting, cheer squad!). Volunteer forms are now available in the school office!

As a reminder, all volunteers must be chaperone-trained! 

  • Share our event with friends and family to encourage more pledges and sponsorships.
